FRIENDS OF THE OREGON COMMISSION FOR WOMEN

event branding

Each year, the Friends of the Oregon Commission for Women hosts the Annual Women of Achievement Awards, honoring several remarkable female Oregonians.

Roger That’s print collateral for this event focused on celebrating femininity and leadership. Simple imagery paired with traditional type gave a nod to the austerity of the event with a hint of tenderness.

1. Inspiration

Design was inspired by the upcoming Spring season in which the event is held annually, as well as a theme of simplicity as to place the focus on the honorees’ achievements.

2. Color & typography

We chose a pastel Spring color palette in muted tones to match the earnesty of the event. We utilized a varied typography style, incorporating a classic script and the more traditional Garamond. The effect is gentle simplicity.

Roger That was a joy to work with, from concept to event day to follow-up. Their intuitive sense of what was needed helped refresh a longstanding annual event and take it to the next level.
