The Situation

The Center for Evidence-based Policy provides objective, rigorously analyzed information that helps federal, state and local policymakers shape better decisions. Their team collaborates with leaders in more than half the nation’s states to develop policies that produce better health outcomes, especially for vulnerable populations.

The Ask

The Center’s previous website functioned largely as a brochure, with basic information about the organization’s products, services and key projects. They asked Roger That to create a rich, engaging online experience that communicates the broader depth and scope of their work — a site that not only tells, but also sells.

The Solution

We helped define the client’s project objectives, then explored a more dynamic and distinctive visual direction that aligned with the new goals. Page content was edited, written and restructured with a focus on benefits and readability. Longer pages deliver more information, cross-promote related resources, feature client testimonials and end with strong calls to action. It’s an active, intuitive experience that helps even first-time visitors clearly understand the Center’s purpose and important work.
